      He moved 25 Oct 1906 from Sechlerville, WI. Charles was the sole suppo rt of his family when his father joined the Union ARmy. Later he spe nt 15 years as foreman for various large northern Wisconsin lumber compani es. For most of his life he spent it on his farm in the Sechlerville, WI a rea. On Oct 25, 1906 he sold his farm and moved to the Seattle area. He w as a member of the Presbyterian church and a member of Modern Woodmen of A merica; the Driftwood Chapter of Seattle.
