      He was a Railroad Worker, except for a brief period of time when he and h is family moved back to Vermillion to help care for his injured father. Af ter his father's death, he and his family moved to Toledo, where he contin ued to work for the railroad. His job ultimately moved him and his fami ly to Everett, WA and then to Vancouver, BC, where he worked for the Canad ian Pacific Railroad.
