At one time he was famo us for the dog boots he made for the pheasant hunters who flocked to our a rea to hunt. He spent two years in the military, serving 18 months in Yok ohoma, Japan. A good clean man with good character and his credit was exc ellent, a good provider, a loving husband, and a good father to the kid s. We owned two excellent quarter horses. Grant was a very good roper a nd excellent dancer. We belonged to a riding club and square dance club f or many years. A combination of Gene Kelley and Fred Astair. Any of t he relatives who have lived around us will tell you the same. The childr en have inherited many of his talents and so have the grandchildren.
