Jessie was the loving grand mother, particularly to Roger. She was an amaz ing person and had to raise all the children following Walters death. S he worked as a cleaning woman. Sister in law Grace had a lot of say abo ut the welfare and schooling of the children.

Jessie had cousins: Annie Leach England has an interesting story(see chart ). also Frank Redrup, Mae Pearce wife of Rupert Pearce(died 1948) and liv ed in Southall.
