      Guy's education included a B.A. from the University of Wisconsin in 190 9. Postgraduate work at Northwestern University, Evanston, IL.
      He worked in 1912 as Chair of Commercian Department, at Evanston Townsh ip High School. From 1916-1921 he was Professor of Accounting at Northwes tern University. He worked with the certified public accountant firm of A rthur Anderson and Company. From 1921 until retirement, he was a financi al analyst for Swift and Company.
      He was a member of numerous committees including special committee on sou nd accounting methods for the National Organization of Sausage Manufacture rs. Code authority for the Association of American Soap and Glycerine Pro ducers under NRA. General Chairman, Joint Executive and Technical committ ees of Illinois Manufacturers Association. Former member of American Manag ement Association and member of National Association of Accountants.
