      He worked as a Farmer, then a Street Car Conductor in Minneapolis, MN a nd then a Dairy Farmer in Wisconsin. One story is that he had a lunch ro om and pool hall downstairs from his living quarters. He had a sense of h umor and would write stories using colored drawings. He was also a perfec tionist.
