      He was a Railroad Engineer. He worked for the railroad for more than 44 y ears. There is a stone monument at the Wyckoff Reformed Church Cemete ry in Wyckoff, NJ that is engraved with a picture of the last steam locomo tive that he operated, engine # 2516, which was his pride and joy.
