      He was a Carpenter. About 1781 he went with his fater's family to Middlef ield, MA, and lived there and in adjoining towns until 1826, when he mov ed to Franklin, Delaware, NY, then to Saugerties, NY, where he lost his wi fe, then returned to Franklin, where he died.
