      He was educated in Montrose grade and high school, Colorado College in Col orado Springs, Law at Denver University, and the University of Southern Ca lifornia Law School. He was owner of Pelton Motors, Inc., co-owner and pr esident of the National Canning Co. in Seattle, which was sold to Armour a nd Co., Los Angeles, CA. He was involved with the Automobile Finance Co ., and Marmon Car Distributor of Southern CA in 1930. He was a Dodge dist ributor for Southern CA. Became president of Parts Wholesalers Inc., whi ch became the largest Chrysler parts distributorship in the country. At t he time of his death he was chairman of the board. George was a memb er of numerous clubs, including chair of several Los Angeles automobile sh ows and he served as president of the Motor Car Dealers Association, recei ving a life membership from that organization in 1956. He was also a memb er of the Republican Party.
