  [combined.ged] He was a Stonemason/Bricklayer. He moved in 1788 to Ontario, Canada. Remo ved to Grand Isle, VT, previous to 1788, and thence, with his brother-in- law, Levi Lawrence, in 1806, to Canada, Chateaugay, QUE, and in or about 1 809 to Blenheim, Oxford, Canada West, now Ontario, where he lived, and the re died, in 1849. He learned first the stone mason's trade, and afterwar d, brickmaking, at New London, CT. The records of this family were destro yed in the War of 1812, or in the Canadian Rebellion.
