      She worked as a high school teacher. She graduated fro the Universi ty of South Dakota, went to Columbia College of Expression, in Chicago, I L, graduating in 1919. Was a Registered Parliamentarian, of the Nation al Association of Registered Parliamentarians, and a member and former Pre sident of the Chicago Association of Registered Parliamentarians. Nelle se rved as Parliamentarian for many meetings and conventions from coast to co ast. She was active in local and national civic affairs. Was a memb er of Evanston Women's Club and Northwestern University Guild.
