    He was a student in Toronto, York, ON, CAN at Toronto Veterinary Colleg e. He moved in 1892. He moved to Canada and studied at Toronto Veterina ry College. When he returned to the USA he met the widow Martin who w as a cook at her father's logging camp raising her son, Russel Martin. Wh ile in Canada he traveled a circuit showing films, then ran a livery stab le and had one of the first car dealerships and implement dealers in Saska tchewan.
    He was Veterinarian between 1906-1969. Lived in eleven different cities d uring his professional career.

He was a story teller and drew a milita ry pension. Stayed active all his life and walked to Augustus to recei ve it at 80 years old. After the was he settled in Maine.
