Holmie98 viewsA "Holmie" is a small native Orcadian sheep which lives on the Holms (small rocky Islands) in Orkney. Their sole food is seaweed. They are kept for their wool, which is very fine and expensive. To "roo" is to shear, thus this is a sheep which has just lost its fleece - also in picture.
