      Description: His cause of death is stated as a "cold", but was probably pn eumonia after falling through the ice.
      He was listed on a passenger list to South America, 1759. He was imprison ed in West Indies, 1759-1762. Philip Jr. was sent by his father in 17 59 to South America as supercargo. He was captured by the French off t he Carolina coast and carried to a West Indian Island. There he was held p risoner for three years, until 17 years old.
